Nghiên cứu khả năng sinh trưởng và chất lượng thịt lợn của ba công thức lai: DurocxLandrace, (Durocx Pietrein)xLandrace và (DurocxLandrace)xLandrace tại trung tâm giống vật nuôi Gia Lai

ABSTRACT

The study was conducted on three-line  hybrid pig combinations between ♂(Duroc x Pietrain) x ♀ Landrace,  ♂(Duroc x Duroc) x ♀ Landrace and ♂(Duroc x Landrace) x ♀ Landrace in Gia Lai province from January to December 2015. The research’s aim is to assess their growing capacity and meat quality. The experiment was randomly designed with 3 repeatations. All of sows in these three-line hybrid combinations in each method were analogous in their ages, parity, weight and fostering practices.

The results show that the highest birth weight received at the hybrid combination DP (L) (1.29 kg), followed by the DD (L) (1.27 kg) and the lowest was DL ( L) (1.24 kg). Regarding the absolute growth from birth to 63 days old, the hybrid combination of DD (L) is the highest (315.71 g/head/day), followed by the DP (L) (305.65 g/head/day), finally DL (L) (298.34 g/head/day). The absolute growth in the 63- 115 days old period of these hybrid combinations DP (L), DD (L), DL (L) were 768.28 g/head/day; 784.88 g/head/day and 749.66 g/head/day, respectively. Quality indicators pf meat including dehydration after processing at 24 and 48 hours (MNCB24, MNCB48), dehydrated preservation after 24 and 48 hours (MNBQ24, MNBQ48), pH and meat color meet the satisfactory standards of Vietnam.
